Did You Know.jpg

Living on the streets and being separated from family causes profound trauma for a child. This multilayered distress does not simply go away once they are no longer hungry or homeless. Unless underlying pain and the past is acknowledged and dealt with, healing does not happen.

Life is hard for girls in rural Ethiopia - 90% do not have access to sanitary pads, and without them girls miss school for a week at a time every month. Many girls eventually drop out, leaving them vulnerable to greater poverty, homelessness, and trafficking.

What Does That Mean.jpg

FOR THE FORSAKEN CHILDREN, THIS MEANS ADDING TWO NEW AND EXCITING MINISTRY PARTNERSHIPS!

New, more holistic care for boys who live on the streets of Addis Ababa and want to come out of that life - with a focus on healing trauma through intensive counseling and access to the Gospel, art therapy, and thoughtful family reunification.
