The Results Are In!

On Thursday, January 17, 2014 The Forsaken Children hosted its first event held in Sanford, NC - 'An Evening With Nega'. Guests enjoyed delicious food, great company, and an AMAZING - seriously, it was awesome -  presentation by none other than TFC's Ethiopian Director, Nega Meaza. In short, the evening was PERFECT...

The Main Event Spoke Volumes

The main event featured real, powerful stories from Nega Meaza, the director of TFC's on the ground partner, the Onesimus Ministry, and Joe Bridges, TFC co-founder and director. Each of these presenters spoke from the heart and touched every person in the room with their firsthand stories of redemption, reunion, recovery and salvation.

Nega poignantly described how Onesimus ministers to the street children of Ethiopia by relaying stories of children impacted by him and his team.

Desse with gift

Nega testified how Onesimus sees street children as equal with with all children. Ruth was his example of an exceptional child whose life was almost lost to the streets of Addis Ababa. Today she has great hope because of Onesimus.

Nebiyu's reunification with his mother after 5 years of being in Onesimus' care showed how important family is to children. Onesimus makes it a priority to put children with the family God created them for.

Each of these beautiful children now not only have the hope of a secure future here on earth, but they also know Jesus and have hope of eternity with him after this life.

How God Provided
