This was our last day with the kids. It was an awesome morning because we were able to meet up with the kids and watch them in a street race. The kids raced from the drop-in center to the soccer field.

The past few blogs, I have given a summary of the day's activities. Tonight, I feel like I need to share what is on my heart because it is more important that what we "did" today. This is how I have seen God today....

Our morning started off a little wobbly, a head lice scare and our fearless leader was very ill. We were unsure of how our day would go starting off this way. Our hearts were heavy beginning this day. But quickly we learned today how to improvise and "make it work."

Today was another blessed day. We have been in the presence of the Lord. God is our teacher...THE ultimate teacher. Our words are not enough to share what we are experiencing.

God worked in us in a mighty way today. We saw God move in our lives and we saw God in the lives of the children! ...we had a "ball" today! We laughed so much today and we were full of smiles.

Today was the first day with the kids. Sure enough today we had to fully rely on God as our daddy.... as our pilot. We arrived at the drop in center ready to go with all of our plans that we had made before. Our plans did not go as we expected! (This is an understatement).
