Team Ethiopia: Addis Ababa Bound

Team Ethiopia has made it safely from Memphis, TN (and one from Sanford, NC) to their overnight destination, Washington DC. The team will use their time tonight to bond as a team and prep for the travel and service ahead. They depart Friday morning on a direct flight to the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. Check back regularly to get daily updates from the team bloggers. See photos. Hear stories of God's movement in and through this team. And learn daily ways you can pray specifically for each of the 11 team members. Your comments along the way will bless them and encourage them.

Direct from the official Team Bloggers (Jane & Candice) Thursday Night: The team has arrived in DC. We are all so excited about tomorrow. . .we were able to discuss our hopes and concerns about this coming week at dinner tonight. Each of us, first timers and the ones that have been many times, all know that this trip is going to be a brand new experience for all. Tonight we discussed how God hand picked each of us to be on this trip and on this team. How beautiful is it to know God's hand is on us already? Please continue to pray for health and safety for our team and that God would reveal Himself to us so we can glorify Him. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Friday Morning Update: Karyn Bridges made it with us! We are so excited. She is feeling better. We are currently in the Washington DC airport waiting to go. We are so blessed to have Karyn with us! Praise God for this miracle!

A verse that Nicci wants to share is Hebrews 11:6 "and without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."  We have seen this verse to be true and will continue to seek God in all things.

Pray for travel mercies for us on this journey. So far our travel has been smooth and we have met some great people along the way!
