The Forsaken Children’s Annual Gala Event!

Children without food. Without safety. Living alone on the streets of Ethiopia’s capital city. Young women trapped in the sex trade. Young women with their babies, living day in and day out without a roof over their head? God sees these vulnerable among us. He LOVES them, and calls us to SEE them and LOVE them too. The needs can feel HUGE, even overwhelming.

BUT… What if YOU could be a part of changing the story for children in the most dire of situations. There is a part for you specifically to play in the rescue of these young people. Don’t miss this special night and be empowered to make a difference as we come together to raise funds for these Ethiopian children and young people, fighting for a life outside of darkness and brokenness.

We are excited to share and celebrate all that is happening in Ethiopia! In a season where the continent and people of Africa, and Ethiopia in particular struggle under inflation, civil unrest, and drought, we have stories to tell of children coming out of street life, and girls coming out of the sex trade and trained for dignified work… Stories of children and families supported and persevering in school, and girls learning how to care for themselves and receiving the hygiene products they need to continue in their education so they can break free from the cycle of poverty. Hope is taking root. These children are not giving up and fighting for a different life.

HOW WILL THIS EVENT WORK?

We will gather at Collierville First Baptist with doors open at 6:00pm and dinner/program starting at 6:30 in the Fellowship Happ.

This annual event is our most important annual fundraiser.

The $$ raised will rescue, restore and rebuild young lives across Ethiopia for the next year. We need YOU there! And your friends!
